Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey continues to dominate the box office, with moviegoers flocking to theaters to experience the highly anticipated blockbuster.

But one fan in Los Angeles reportedly took their enthusiasm to another level after allegedly refusing to leave the theater when the movie ended.
The unusual incident happened during a 70mm IMAX screening at Regal LA Live.

X user Katt Tsai, who posts under the username @Chuwenjie, shared the incident as it unfolded.
The post quickly went viral, attracting more than 700,000 views and over 12,000 likes on X.
"At Regal LA Live to see The Odyssey in 70 mm and they're apparently calling the cops because a guy from the previous showing is refusing to leave his seat. He wants to watch it again," Tsai wrote.
As the situation continued, Tsai kept followers updated with additional posts.
"Yep there's 4 cops in there in flashlights and they can't let anyone in!," Tsai added.
Tsai later told The California Post that police eventually escorted the man out of the theater, allowing the next screening to begin.
Viral Incident Delays IMAX Screening
The disruption delayed the scheduled showing, forcing theater staff to adjust the evening's timetable.
"The showing of the movie was delayed around 25 minutes from the scheduled start time, and all of the trailers were skipped except for the "Dune" trailer in order to make up for the lost time," Tsai said.
Demand for The Odyssey has surged since its release on Friday, with IMAX 70mm screenings selling out across the country.
The film is the first narrative feature ever shot entirely using IMAX film cameras. Only a limited number of theaters are equipped to present it in the full 15/70 IMAX format.
California alone has eight such venues, including Regal LA Live.
The Odyssey has a reported production budget of $250 million and an additional $125 million spent on marketing. It is expected to need around $625 million at the global box office to break even, according to Forbes.
The film opened with $264.1 million worldwide. This gives Nolan the biggest opening weekend of his career, surpassing The Dark Knight Rises in 2012.
