31-year-old Jesher Rivera-Barreto has been charged with DUI. As reported by the New York Post, she had crashed her car which also had her baby and toddler in the vehicle.
The alleged DUI incident happened on Saturday, July 18. Authorities claimed she had put her 1-year-old and 4-year-old into the car, before driving at around 11:30pm local time.
Long Island police explained that she ended up losing control of her vehicle, crashing into a wooded area near Brookhaven.
But, in a shocking turn of events, she had posted several pictures online of herself drinking during the day, including a picture of her with an espresso martini.
Her as well as both of her children were transported to NYU Langone Hospital, and treated for minor injuries. The children ended up being released to their father at the hospital.
Rivera-Barreto herself ended up being arrested and booked for violating Leandra's Law. The law is described on the New York Courts website: it immediately prosecutes an individual who drives while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age in the car with a Class E felony.
It also says that "all individuals convicted of misdemeanor and felony DUI offenses install and maintain ignition interlock devices."
The law was originally brought into effect due to the death of 11-year-old Leandra Rosado. She was killed when the drunk driver in a car she was in lost control of the vehicle in October 2009.

Her Social Media Posts Show Her Prior to her DUI Charge
The influencer had posted a carousel of images on social media on the day before she allegedly committed the DUI.
She captioned it "Little joys" alongside a coffee emoji. The post includes pictures of her drinking an espresso martini.
Commenters on social media were quick to chastize her once the news was made public of her arrest. "was that drink worth it," one wrote. Another wrote, "HAVE FUN IN JAIL!".
Another criticized her for allegedly "drinking and driving with kids in the car."
