Are aliens real? It's a question that's been left long unanswered by humanity.
From prehistoric times to the modern era, people have always asked the questions - and the signs, supposedly, have been all around us.
Strange cave paintings from an older time, weird sightings in the sky going back millennia... strange, right? And in modern times, things have gotten more and more secretive.
At least, that's until the US Government set up the UFO Transparency website. The site has declassified lots of footage for, as the title suggests, transparency.
And their latest release has left the Internet reeling. It's entitled "58-Second Air Force IR Sensor Clip, 2020." And while, per the report, there is no "oral or written description" of what happened, the video itself is pretty telling.
It shows a really strange object floating around in the air. The camera itself goes in and out of focus on the object, and also expands as it comes closer.
The description explains in part that the clip is a "58-second video from a U.S. military platform, submitted by the Department of the Air Force to AARO in 2020" which "shows a tracked area of contrast that grows in apparent size before leaving the sensor's field of view."
Pentagon Releases Clearest UFO Footage Yet, Leaving Internet Reeling
Whether aliens exist is one of the biggest questions ever to be asked. But this latest UFO video release gives more and more credibility...
The UFO footage was reposted on social media, where it went viral and got 1.6 million views. If you didn't think it was real, maybe some of these comments could convince you...
One commenter wrote, "Bruh my daughter & witnessed something super similar to whatever the f*** that is," and also attached a video with a similar scary-looking object.
Another commenter wrote, "Okay this is one of the clearest and most interesting clips I've ever seen," adding he also thought "that looks like a structured craft and resembles nothing I've seen before".
But others were a little more skeptical. One commenter mused, "The way [the UFO] rocks rather quickly makes it look like a ballon of some sort." Another commenter wrote, "So it was fifteen feet tall, purple, and floating on the wind... Did this happen to occur around the time a lot of parades happen?"
While we aren't sure about the origins, one thing remains clear - we think more of these videos are coming soon. Who knows what's next?
