According to Setlist.fm, the concert began at 7:45 p.m. and wrapped up shortly after 10 p.m.

The evening opened with a cover of The Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends". Bon Jovi and the band then launched into more than two hours of music.

Joined by original members Tico Torres and David Bryan, along with Hugh McDonald, John Shanks, Phil X, and Everett Bradley, Bon Jovi delivered a 21-song set packed with fan favorites.

Classics including "You Give Love a Bad Name," "It's My Life," and "Livin' on a Prayer" featured throughout the night.

The band closed the show with a three-song encore featuring "I'll Be There for You," "Wanted Dead or Alive," and a finale of "Bad Medicine."

Bon Jovi appeared in strong vocal form throughout the performance. He confidently hit many of the high notes that helped define his career.

Singer Reflects on Emotional Comeback

Even after undergoing successful vocal cord surgery, questions remained over whether Bon Jovi would ever return to the stage.

Following years of rehabilitation and work with vocal coaches, he was ultimately declared fully recovered.

During the concert, the singer paused to reflect on his long road back.

"I haven't heard the roar of a crowd in four years and I didn't know if I would remember what that was like," the singer said, via Ultimate Classic Rock.

He added that "grateful and humbled by this whole ordeal."

Bon Jovi also thanked the approximately 20,000 fans in attendance, telling them they were his "personal, private guests because they are coming here to give love and to support us. I'm just honestly thankful."

The Madison Square Garden residency continues through July 26 before the band heads to Europe, beginning in Edinburgh on August 28 and concluding with three shows at London's Wembley Stadium.
