Lauren Bennett Rose to Fame in 2007
Lauren's music career began in 2007 as a member of The Paradiso Girls. The group was viewed as a European spin-off of The Pussycat Dolls. However, the group never achieved much success and disbanded in 2010 following multiple singles failing to break through.
Following the group's disbandment, Lauren was part of G.R.L., having been recruited by Robin Antin, who was the mastermind behind both The Paradiso Girls and The Pussycat Dolls.
Outside of her tenure in girl groups, Lauren also found success as a solo artist. She featured on multiple stars' songs, including Will.I.Am, CeeLo Green, and LMFAO.
In 2015, after G.R.L. disbanded, Lauren released a solo song called "Hurricane." Upon that song's release, she was open with how the song leaned into watching her mother struggle with mental health issues.
"After seeing my mother suffer with mental struggles for years I then lost a friend to this. It has always affected my life in some way," Lauren said at the time, via The Sun. "We all at least know someone who has dealt with it or have yourself...[Hurricane] is a story to show from my eyes what it feels like to suffer from this but also the other perspective to lose someone to this."
Currently, there's no information regarding Lauren's impending funeral. That information will likely remain private for family and close friends. She is survived by her husband, Kenny, and her six-year-old daughter, Harlow.
