The Bakersfield Police Department said an investigation into Aldoori's death is underway and remains active.

Her cause and manner of death, as well as the circumstances surrounding the incident, remain pending.

Aldoori had worked as a physician for decades and practiced as an OB-GYN. She was also one of two physicians at Bella Health and Beauty in northeast Bakersfield.

The experienced doctor specialized in women's health and wellness, as well as cosmetic procedures.

In March 2024, Aldoori surrendered her California physician's license in connection with the death of a patient.

She had initially been placed on seven years of probation before regulators accused her of failing to comply with its terms. That ultimately led to her surrendering her license.

Disciplinary Case Followed Patient's Death

The disciplinary case stemmed from allegations filed in 2021 over a liposuction and tummy tuck procedure performed on a patient who died in April 2016.

Regulators alleged that Aldoori did not have sufficient training to perform the 2016 operation.

The patient reportedly died from a fat embolism, a serious condition in which fat globules enter the bloodstream.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Aldoori had been self-employed from June 1978 across a medical career spanning nearly five decades.

She also worked as a medical doctor in the United Kingdom between January 1986 and June 2002.

In April 2007, Aldoori began working in Bakersfield after joining Advanced Health Care of Bakersfield, Inc.

The 71-year-old also maintained a YouTube channel, where she uploaded 79 videos and amassed more than 28,000 subscribers. Her most recent upload, titled "Post Partum Transition," was published in January 2025.

Her first video, "How This Vitamin Can Save Your Life," was posted in December 2023 and focused on health and wellness topics.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Mosul College of Medicine, one of Iraq's most prestigious medical schools.

Further details are expected once authorities complete their investigation into her death.
