The popular beer brand is giving away free beer on Independence Day to commemorate America's landmark anniversary.
Beginning June 29, adults aged 21 and older can claim a $6 digital gift card from Budweiser. The reward can be put toward a 12-ounce draught beer, while supplies last.
Budweiser says eligible customers can visit the America's Tab page, enter their information, and complete the verification process to receive a $6 digital gift card.
People who are 21 and older can also use their smartphones to scan the QR code "on signs or promotional materials at participating stores" to be directed to the registration page.
There is a limit of one request per person per month during the offer period.
The offer period ends at 11:59:59 EDT on July 5, or earlier if all prizes have been awarded, which means the $150,000 tab has run out.
Budweiser Giving Away Free Beer to All Eligible Americans
"For years, Budweiser has shown up for the moments that bring Americans together," said Todd Allen, SVP of Marketing for Budweiser at Anheuser-Busch, in a press statement. "This summer, as America celebrates its 250th birthday, we wanted to do more than mark an anniversary. We wanted to honor the people who make those moments possible.
"Covering America's tab is our way of turning gratitude into action. To thank the hardworking people who've made Budweiser part of everyday life. And to give them a chance to share a beer, reconnect and celebrate the resilience and spirit that have defined this country for generations," his statement continued.
In addition to its nationwide beer giveaway, Budweiser is continuing its "American Beers for American Heroes" campaign.
The beer brand announced that a portion of Budweiser sold in bars and restaurants, up to $1.5 million, will fund educational scholarships for the families of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.
Over the last 16 years, Budweiser has donated $37 million in educational scholarships, the company announced.
Budweiser, an American-style lager, was introduced in 1876, almost exactly 100 years after America was founded.
