Country music star Jordan Davis had an unsettling incident happen to him recently. Accounts online differ as to whether it was when he left his concert in New York and was headed up to Ontario or vice versa. Fortunately, though, everything was finally straightened out. However, it must have been pretty nerve-wracking for him.

When Davis's tour bus was on the road, it was reportedly halted by Border Patrol agents. He kept his cool despite the unexpected stop. The explanation is actually kind of funny.
Davis Made an Instagram Video Explaining the Mix-Up
Jordan Davis posted a video on Instagram explaining the mess. It's captioned, "Keeping the borders safe...one Jordan Davis at a time. Much love Canada." It looks like it was filmed right on his bus. He and the others with him laughed about it. But at the time, it must have been mildly unnerving.
Davis said in the video that officers evidently confused him with someone else named Jordan Davis. The other Davis was allegedly in trouble in Indiana. "They said, 'We're not gonna put you in handcuffs, but I need you to come with me.' Dude, the two cops came in here and pulled me into Border Patrol. They're like, 'I need you to be real serious with me, man. Are you in some trouble in Indiana?'"
Jordan Davis couldn't say he was not in hot water in Indiana fast enough! "I was like, 'No, I've never even been arrested, dude.' They were serious for a second. Somebody in Indiana named Jordan Davis is in some serious trouble."
Border Patrol Finally Realized Who He Really Was
Jordan Davis was at last asked by one of the agents, "Are you the country singer?' I was like, 'Yeah.'" According to the singer, the agent was fearful of Davis bad-mouthing him and his associates either onlne or on stage. They had nothing to worry about. He says he said, "I was like, 'Nah, dude. Just let me get out of here.'"
Fans Seemed To Get a Kick Out of It
Jordan Davis's fans seemed to think it was comical. Some of them left their reactions on Instagram.
"Next song 'Most wanted in Indiana.'"
"I wanna know what Jordan Davis in Indiana did."
"Don't make me turn this bus around."
"This reminds me of the time 'I' ended up on the no fly list."
