The Detroit Lions have parted ways with Terrion Arnold just five days after his arrest, as the cornerback's legal troubles continue to escalate.

Arnold turned himself in to police on Wednesday and was taken into custody.
On Monday, a judge set the 24-year-old's bail at $1 million and ordered him to remain at home except for work and court appearances.
The Lions announced Arnold's release shortly after the bond hearing.
NFL Star Arrested as Lions Release Cornerback
Arnold is one of seven people accused of participating in what investigators described as a "targeted armed robbery" on February 4.
He faces four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery.
According to investigators, Arnold rented an Airbnb in Largo, Florida, where he and several co-defendants periodically stayed.
Authorities allege the crimes took place at the rental property.
Investigators claim three male victims, all in their late teens, were assaulted. They were allegedly held at gunpoint, pistol-whipped, robbed, and ordered to leave the Airbnb.
Investigators say personal belongings worth approximately $250,000 belonging to Arnold and others had previously been stolen from the Airbnb.
Authorities allege Arnold believed two of the three victims were responsible for the theft. Although Tampa police later concluded they were not involved.
Attorney Denies Any Wrongdoing
Despite the charges and the latest developments, Arnold's attorney, R. Timothy Jansen, denied any wrongdoing on behalf of his client last week.
"Mr. Arnold had no involvement whatsoever in the activities that led to those arrests," Jansen said in a statement. "He did not participate in, nor was he present for, any conduct related to the alleged offenses."
"There is no evidence in police reports, text messages, or witness statements that implicates Mr. Arnold in any way."
The Lions acknowledged the "legal situation" involving Arnold.
"We will not comment at this time out of respect for the ongoing legal process," the team said in a brief statement.
Arnold was a two-time All-American at Alabama before the Lions selected him with the 24th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
He later signed a four-year rookie contract worth $14.34 million, which has now been terminated following his release.
Arnold started 15 games as a rookie before a shoulder injury limited him to eight appearances, including seven starts, during the 2025 season.
