Shania Twain almost endured an embarrassing moment during a recent show. The country star is currently opening for pop star Harry Styles for his "Together, Together" residency at Wembley Stadium in London.

On Friday, June 26, Twain rocked a revealing outfit. She looked fabulous in a sheer, long-sleeve, lacy black mini dress, with a bra and spandex-style underwear on. Unfortunately for Twain, the bottom half of her body wasn't as covered as the top. So, when she bent down during her performance of "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" those in attendance almost saw more than they bargained for.
There's nothing wrong with dressing to impress, nor are any of us in a position to tell someone else what to wear. Twain is a superstar; she knows how she wants to look and feel on stage. However, her wardrobe choice likely left some feeling a little awkward, especially those closer to the front of the crowd.
A video of her near-wardrobe malfunction was shared on TikTok. In the video, you can see her mini dress ride up, exposing her spandex styler undergarments in the process. Of course, there was no skin on display with the near-slip, but there was more panties than anyone expected.
Fans React to Shania Twain's Wardrobe Choice
Once the video of Twain's wardrobe choice began gaining traction on social media, fans were quick to leave their thoughts.
"Dear Shania Twain's stylist ... YOU ARE FIRED!" the top comment reads on TikTok, with over 49,600 likes.
Another user chose to make light of Twain's clothing choice, using a pun to drive her point home.
"Shania, your twain is hanging out," the user joked.
Other users also chose to poke fun at how Twain had chosen to dress.
"Those are literally my grandma's bloomers," one joked.
Another chose to cite the star's own lyrics back to her, "That don't impress me much."
Despite the clothing choice, Twain rocked out during her set. She's scheduled to be at Wembley for multiple more shows, as the residency continues. As such, fans may be wondering whether she opts for a different style of wardrobe choice moving forward.
Only time will tell.
