People who aren't American tend to have a pretty clear-cut stereotypical depiction of how we operate. But half the things they think couldn't be less true—and one rancher has invited tourists to experience the real America.
As reported by the New York Post, Drew Haas, from South Central Texas, invited two couples to visit his ranch. They're from Poland and France—two places you wouldn't expect to be the most knowledgeable about America.
And what he showed them made them fall in love with the USA. He explained in an interview that he wanted to show "my America" to them. Not the sort of thing tourist boards want to portray, something much more real.
So he took them directly to his ranch in what he's described as a "redneck crash course." What does that entail, you ask?
Pickup trucks through the mud, cowboy dancing lessons, and, of course, a trip to Buc-ee's. Of course, they went to Buc-ee's. I think any tourist would be shocked to the core seeing row after row of gas pumps, wouldn't you?
The Polish couple, identified as David Mazur and Martina Bijinska from Silesia, said the whole thing felt like a movie.
Mazur revealed his dad used to watch John Wayne westerns. I think the cowboy dancing would've done the trick for him!

Other Tourists Have Had Crazy Experiences in the US
These aren't the only tourists who have been having a crazy time in the USA. A lot of them are not really aware of a lot of what we have over here, so they found themselves in awe.
And they've been flooding social media with admiration. According to Click2Houston, one fan, a German named Freddy, has gone viral for documenting his experiences.
His account on social media has been growing steadily due to people loving his experiences. When he arrived in Houston in early June to see Germany face off against Curacao, he "ate typical Texan BBQ" with the Houston Police Department's chief, Noe Diaz.
He also ended up driving all the way to Oklahoma to go and see Ella Langley. If that isn't the best American experience ever, what is?!
