The average wedding, even a vow renewal, is a pretty beautiful affair. Think about it—what do you picture when you think of a wedding?
Beautiful scenery, white-clad seats, just a generally extravagant time, right? Well, one couple celebrated over six decades of marriage by swapping a wedding cake with a Crunchwrap Supreme.
As reported by Dexerto, Mickey and Jo-Ann Muhlstein renewed their vows in a local Taco Bell. The parents of eight children brought their family and friends along to watch the unusual event.
But they didn't just pick the Taco Bell for no reason. No, it's where they've spent every lunchtime together, eating tacos and sipping (presumably) Baja Blast. And that's a ritual they've done for over 12 years.
And in what I'd argue is the most hilarious part of this, the whole thing was officiated by the Taco Bell in question's district manager.
Their vows had a pretty good twist to them. "Mild, hot, on fire, our love has been strong enough to survive every twist, and not just cinnamon," he said.
But there were many more heartfelt lines in there, too. Jo-Ann said, "No matter what happens, I will never let go in our aging years." Mickey said, "I will love you for every day that God blessedly grants us together."
One of their children, Amy, reflected on the heartfelt nature of the whole thing. "I just wish that everyone could have that and find that in life to have that kind of love for each other."
Taco Bell surprised its longtime customers with free food for life.

People found a lot of humor in the whole situation. Some commenters were happy to see the commitment they had to each other. One wrote, "62 years of marriage and Taco Bell every day? Honestly, unclear which commitment is more impressive, but both deserve a trophy."
Other commenters thought the daily Taco Bell probably wasn't the best for them. One said, "Eating Taco Bell every single day for 12 years and making it to age 81 isn't just a testament to their love, it's a medical miracle."
