Tom Morello has canceled a string of his European Tour dates. He's flying back home to help take care of his sick mother. Morello, who rose to fame as part of the anti-establishment group, Rage Against The Machine, was in the UK as part of his European solo tour.

"He's now scrapped appearances at the Tons Of Rock Festival in Oslo, Norway on Friday (26.06.26) and the BBK Music Legends Festival in Bilbao, Spain on Saturday (27.06.26) as well as shows in London and Paris," Music News reports.
Morello's mother, Mary, 102, was recently admitted to the hospital. The star musician took to Instagram to inform his fans.
"Dear friends, fans and comrades, my dear mom, Mary Morello is back in the hospital and I'm headed home to help look after her," Morello wrote. "Rocking the UK and Europe with you all this summer has been incredible and I can't wait to be back with you and continue this movement that we started. With much love, unity and power."
This is the second time Morello has canceled some shows on this tour. He previously postponed shows at London's Electric Brixton and the Bataclan in Paris. The hope was that he could re-arrange those for June 29 and 30. However, those dates are now canceled, and fans are being offered refunds.
Rock Stars Show Support to Tom Morello
Following Morello's post on Instagram, some titans of the rock industry shared their support.
"You're the fn best," Former Guns N' Roses guitarist, Slash, wrote in the comments section.
"Sending all our love," Scott Ian of Anthrax said in a comment to Morrello's post.
The well-wishes weren't confined to the rock industry, either. Flava Flav of Public Enemy also shared his well-wishes for Morello and his mother, posting multiple prayer emojis.
Fans also shared their support with Morello, who has developed a huge following throughout his career.
There is no information regarding the status of Mary, nor when Morello will return to his tour. After all, family always comes first. And while frustrating, it's likely that his fans will ultimately agree with that sentiment.
