Kyle and Samantha Busch shared 11-year-old Brexton and 4-year-old Lennix before his tragic death in late May. Speaking in an Instagram post, Samantha says that things haven't been easy for the family in the weeks since then.
"I lost the love of my life, my person, and my best friend," she wrote. "The man I built a life with and the person I thought I would grow old with. But I'm still Mom."
However, she said that "grief doesn't stop parenting." She said that she still has to be strong for her children every day. "The morning still comes," she said. "There are questions to answer, tears to wipe away, races to get to, bedtime stories to read, and two kids trying to make sense of a loss that no child should ever have to face."

She also said, "I don't feel strong most days. I miss Kyle every second of every day. I want to curl up in a ball and cry. But I'm a mom."
Samantha and Kyle married in 2010. The two were inseperable until his passing. But Samantha has to put her kids before her feelings of grief. They need someone to be there for them.
"You get up early, have a good cry, and then go make the pancakes," wrote Samantha. "You answer the questions the best you can when you still have so many of your own. You smile for them when you're in physical pain because you miss him so much. You do everything you can so they can keep being kids and not carry the full weight of all this."
She said her children "are the reason I keep putting one foot in front of the other. For Brexton. For Lennix. For him. ??"
