Rock icon Rod Stewart has been in a little hot water due to his health recently. As we reported last week, he was forced to cancel his show just 40 minutes before coming on stage due to health difficulties.
As reported by Parade, he had a pretty terrifying moment whilst on stage at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City.
The incident happened during his set on Friday, June 19. He was seen acting pretty unsteady through parts of the show. It was during his performance of "Young Turks" that things got extra dicey.
Rod Stewart was seen propping himself up on instruments and stage barriers throughout the song. But despite the visible pain and discomfort, he got through the song.
Staff ended up wheeling out an oxygen tank to make sure he could breathe. But in classic Rod Stewart fashion, he couldn't let the moment go by without a little bit of humor to lighten the whole situation.
He told fans "the show must go on", despite the fact he'd "nearly fainted". The audience's reaction was an expected mix of concern and laughter.
But he pulled through, despite needing to be seated for the remaining half of his performance.

This Comes After the Rock Icon Needed to Cancel a Show
The rock icon needed to cancel a slew of shows just a week before. According to health officials, he had contracted laryngitis from a respiratory infection.
A post from the Red Rocks venue where he was slated to perform wrote, "Following examinations at Colorado Voice Clinic this afternoon, Dr. David Opperman has prescribed strict vocal rest for Rod Stewart, necessitating the postponement of his June 15 and June 16 performances."
Rod Stewart got some pretty harsh criticism because just days after he cancelled the shows, he was seen in a clip celebrating at a World Cup match. Fans described his behavior as disrespectful to people who wanted to see him live.
But this health scare shows that maybe fans were wrong to criticise the rock legend so soon. Either way, we hope he feels better soon.
