The three-story, ranch-to-table restaurant totaled 13,000 square feet and boasted massive dining and lounge areas. Despite the lavish layout and multimillion-dollar funding, the restaurant shut down in February.

"Nashville — We're hitting pause. We're temporarily pausing operations as we evaluate what Nashville needs next," E3 Chophouse announced on social media. "Our team is assessing market opportunities and exploring potential rebrand and re-concept strategies for the future of this location. Stay tuned. More updates to come."

In a statement provided to The Tennessean, E3 Chophouse general manager Robert Kilborne said the restaurant has also been "grappling with rising operating costs, increased pricing pressures, a saturated market, and the impacts of higher taxes and regulatory expenses."

Now, co-owners Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Adam LaRoche face new issues, with the trio being slapped with a lawsuit.

Country Stars Being Sued For Unpaid Business Fees

According to the Nashville Business Journal, Bryan, Aldean, Laroche, and Outlaws LLC are being sued by GBT Realty Corporation. The realty company claims that E3 Chophouse failed to make required rent payments.

The lawsuit claims that rent payments were not made in January or February 2026. Just before the restaurant announced it was closing. GBT Realty Corp is reportedly seeking the unpaid rent, plus interest.

Additionally, the company is seeking payment for the remainder of the restaurant lease, which runs through 2029.

A spokesperson for the E3 Chophouse owners told the Nashville Business Journal this week that "none of the partners had any prior knowledge of this complaint until now," and that "a resolution for this is already being worked towards."

Country stars Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan, who are currently on a co-headline tour, have not publicly addressed the lawsuit.
