Faizon Love, best known for playing store manager Wanda in Elf, has been arrested in Florida. According to Suggest, he is facing contempt of court charges.
He was booked into the Orient Road Jail in Tampa, Florida. This comes after his arrest in Hillsborough County. According to Page Six, the contempt of court charges are to do with a paternity case he is currently embroiled in.
He stared into the camera with a stone cold face upon having his mugshot taken.
Previous documents revealed that he allegedly owes a woman named Tiffany Lee $250,000 in child support payments. But, the documents say he claimed he didn't earn any money at all in the past 12 months.
Moreover, he said he's been having a pretty bad time over the last few years. His apparent highest income in the past 5 years was only $13,000.
But it's not fully clear why he's had the book thrown at him with contempt of court.

The 'Elf' Actor Has Been Arrested Before
According to the outlet, this isn't the first time the Elf actor has been on the wrong side of the law.
He was previously arrested after authorities said he assaulted a valet in Columbus, Ohio. The wild incident happened in 2016.
They explained that he threw the valet to the ground in a fit of rage, before knocking him into a desk. Love's defense attorney, John Moore, said that there was a disagreement over payment.
Love also defended himself, saying that the valet threatened to "put hands" on him and even spat at him before he took action himself. "He was basically trying to get away from the incident," according to Moore.
But he received 180 days in jail and a $500 fine following the incident.
He also got charged back in 2024 after allegedly hitting a San Diego hotel clerk with a credit card reader. He ended up getting charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon alongside enhancement for inflicting great bodily injury.
Following the incident, the Elf star went on to post on social media asking Ice Cube as well as Friday writer DJ Pooh to "come get" him.
