'Duck Dynasty' Star Reveals Stalker Has Been Arrested After Year of Torment

The 'Duck Dynasty' star revealed that her anxiety got so bad that she had anxiety attacks whenever her name was mentioned in public.

Duck Dynasty star Mia Robertson has revealed that a horrible chapter of her life has finally ended. Her stalker that ruined her life for years has finally been arrested.

According to Taste of Country, she opened up about the upsetting ordeal she faced on social media - with a happy twist to follow.

She explained, "Two weeks ago, we got the call that finally, after over a year of being tormented by this person, he has been arrested, and is currently in jail."

It's a big deal - she had to endure some really bad things to get to this point.

The Duck Dynasty star said that ever since she learned about her stalker, a lot of things had to change. Mia first found out about what was happening over a year ago. She explained, "[the ordeal] pretty quickly went from 0 to 100... [And] I had to start my senior year of college going by a different name."

That was a pretty big thing for her. "My name, Mia Robertson, is something I am incredibly proud of. It connects me with my beautiful, God-fearing family, and our story of overcoming so many trials life threw in our way."

The 'Duck Dynasty' Star is Celebrating Her New-Found Freeodm

To celebrate the occasion, Mia's friends even brought her a cake. I think that out of any situation, this one is one that should be celebrated for sure. She explained, "I called my friends and they brought me a cake, and I was finally able to use my real name at a restaurant that day."

Mia revealed that she was able to fully reconnect herself again. She stopped herself from self-isolating, whilst being reasonable with herself. "Did this mean I posted where I went to school, or what city or restaurant I was in currently? No, but it did mean that I lived my life again."

The Duck Dynasty star added, "I started hanging out with my friends again." But that wasn't all: "I also did things alone, too. Myself and I were back to being friends, and that was only possible because I saw God as my friend again."

We're glad that this upsetting chapter of her life is well and truly over.
