Please respect our privacy at this time and play Blood's music LOUD!"
Vernon Reid, the producer behind James' "Memphis Blood" album also posted a short statement via X.

Throughout his career, James released albums such as "Odyssey" (1983), "Music Speaks Louder Than Words" (1995) and "Memphis Blood." It was James' unique and unusual approach to producing jazz and blues music that made him a must-listen to fans of both genres.
