President Donald Trump has always had a contentious relationship with the media. So it's not exactly that the president stormed out of an interview.

Trump recently sat down for an interview with NBC News' Meet the Press. Moderator Kristen Welker turned the questioning to the 2020 election and Trump's claims that the election was rigged. She claims that Trump failed to produce evidence supporting his claims.
"You're a one-sided crooked network," Trump said. "Let's call it quits because I've had enough. Thank you, darling. Have a good time."
The reporter tried to get Trump to stay. But the president wasn't having any of it.
"I sat in the rain with you for an hour," he said. "On and off in the rain, and I've given you enough time. You ought to straighten out your press. A country can never be great with a dishonest press."
Trump Walks Out
The interview was finished. Later, Welker claimed that Trump agreed to do a follow-up interview. But we will see if that actually comes to pass. Trump got hot tempered when pressed on a proposed $1.776 billion "anti-weaponization" fund.
The fund was scrapped, but Trump was disappointed that it wasn't going forward. Welker questioned if January 6 protesters should get money from the fund if passed.
"Now, I don't know what's going to happen with the weaponization fund. I love the idea," Trump said. "People like stupid [former President Joe] Biden, he's not smart enough to know what's going on, but people that surrounded him ... what they did to the lives of people, they destroyed people. They sent people to jail who did nothing wrong."
That's when Welker said "there's no evidence of what you're saying."
Trump snapped at the reporter about the 2020 election, which he lost to Joe Biden.
"The election was rigged. It was a dirty election," Trump said. Things just kinda devolved from there. We'll see if Trump and the journalist sit down for a follow up in the days to come.
