Morgan Wallen has clapped back. The country music star recently canceled a concert in Pittsburgh, just hours before it was due to take place. We've all been there: we're getting ready to attend an event, and suddenly, the situation changes and the night is called off.

Wallen and his team decided to cancel the show due to forecasted severe weather. At the time, fans were likely miffed; however, the decision was arguably justifiable. Unfortunately for Wallen, he may have pulled the plug too soon. The severe weather did turn up, just hours earlier than forecasted. So, by the time his concert was due to start, everything was clear, leading to what would have been perfect weather for a concert.
That's when fans lost their minds.
Following the backlash, the "Sand In My Boots" singer addressed his fans with a post on Instagram.
"The truth of the matter is, I have a large stage that, in those conditions, could become fatal to a lot of folks around it. So I did the best I could with the information I had in the moment," Wallen said on his Instagram story. "I've seen a lot of nonsense about me that is simply not true. I just wanted to clear the air, and I think my true fans know that that's not how I operate in general. But I had to say it. Y'all take care."
Morgan Wallen Made a Tough Call
In hindsight, the call to cancel the show in Pittsburgh was a mistake. However, Wallen and his team did what they thought was best, both for their safety and for those who would have been in attendance. It's hard to envision that Wallen wanted to lose out on money, and to upset thousands of people who had paid to see him live.
Wallen has 10 more dates left on his "Still The Problem Tour," where Zach Bryan, Gavin Adcock, and Ella Langley also join him. Hopefully, those dates go off without a hitch. Furthermore, Wallen will undoubtedly hope that next time he performs in Pittsburgh, his fans still show up.
Judging by their outrage, Wallen might want to give them some time to cool down.
