Woman Struggling To Sell House After Neighbor Built 10 Foot Wall of Manure

Many of us have dealt with troublesome neighbors. Maybe they play loud music or don't respect personal boundaries. However, this story breaks the mold when it comes to bad blood between people who live next door. A neighbor has allegedly constructed a 10-foot-tall wall of manure around a nearby home. Not only is this beyond repugnant, but it has reportedly rendered the dwelling virtually impossible to sell.

Megan Perry's Property Has Become a Battleground

Per the Daily Mail, Megan Perry has lived in her home in Dooralong, Australia, for a dozen years. Then her domestic idyll was shattered a little more than a year ago. That is when brothers Petros (known as Peter) and Elefthrous (Terry) Karagounis reportedly purchased almost 400 acres of land around Perry's home and grounds. She claims that since then, the pair have made her life hellish with all kinds of egregious harassment.

Per the outlet, that has included "roaring motorbikes, gunshots and even army trucks driving around the property at all hours of the day and night." Plus the nasty wall of dirt and manure surrounding her property.

She Says She Lives in Fear Now

The brothers' alleged terror tactics have badly disrupted the Perrys' lives. Megan Perry said, "Our whole family is too scared to be in our home. As soon as I hear those engines my heart starts pounding and I'm not sleeping."

Moreover, she added, "The police have given me access to the victims hotline for counselling and I went to my doctor and was diagnosed with chronic stress disorder. He gave me Valium. I don't want that. I don't want to be on medication."

Perry says that the matter has gone to the courts multiple times. The outcome was that she got an Interim Personal Violence Order against one of the brothers, Terry. Perry says she also took measures like talking to law enforcement and handing over a lengthy journal chronicling all the distressing goings-on to Central Coast Council.

Perry Abhors the Stinky Situation

Megan Perry claims she initially met Terry in November 2024. They had a harmless chat at the time that allegedly turned ominous. He supposedly said to her that if anybody trespassed on his land, "they would get shot in the leg." At the time, Terry also allegedly told Megan Perry if she was interested in selling her land, he would be interested in purchasing it. She said she was not planning to put it on the market, but would tell him if she decided to.

Mere days later, Perry says the agonizingly disruptive noise made by vehicles and motorbikes started. "We just have one tiny plot in the middle of their land, and that's where they chose to ride," she mentioned per the outlet

However, that was not all, Perry contends. Trucks began dumping loads of manure around her home. "...[I]t's just total harassment, the revving, the smell, the dirt." The Perrys' pool allegedly cannot now be used because of the huge excrement pile close by, dust coats their dwelling, the family's water is now badly discolored, and the misery seems endless.

"I don't have the money for a lawyer," Megan Perry lamented. "I'm unrepresented and ew live pay cheque to pay cheque."
