Darrell Sheets was the fan-favorite personality known for being in the reality TV show Storage Wars. He died tragically on April 22, 2026, at the age of 67. Sheets reportedly took his own life. His son, Brandon, 42, paid tribute to him on what would have been Sheets' 68th birthday on May 13, per Page Six.

I love you dad and Happy Birthday 5/13/1958 to 4/22/2026" With the melancholy post are family photos of Sheets. One is captioned, "Happy Birthday Dad, I love you." Another shows him with his dog. His was a life well-lived. Darrell Sheets is sorely missed.
Per the outlet, father and son were both on Storage Wars. They appeared on the show from 2010 to 2016. However, the senior Sheets remained on Storage Wars until 2023.
Sheets Was Discovered Deceased at His Arizona Home
On April 22, at his residence in Lake Havasu, Arizona, Sheets was discovered deceased. Although as Page Six noted, "According to a Lake Havasu City Police Department press release, he died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head."
Some have suggested that cyberbullying may have caused Sheets' tragic demise. In fact, Sergeant Kyle Ridgway, the Lake Havasu City Police Department PIO, told the outlet that the professionals looking into Darrell Sheets' death know about these allegations. Actually, the cyberbullying claims are apparently part of the investigation of Sheets' untimely passing.
