The neighborhood association where Nancy Guthrie lives have slammed what they call "disrespectful" behavior near her home. This comes after the massive interest in disappearence case has lead to a slew of visitors to the area, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.
The president of the Catalina Foothills Association, where Nancy Guthrie's home lies, posted a newsletter about the situation. Will Pew wrote, "We realize that neighbors in close proximity to Nancy's house have particularly affected, and left feeling on edge, by this horrific event and as a result of the large numbers of people from outside our area who have descended on Nancy's street and surrounding roads."
While visitors paying their respects to Nancy Guthrie is nice in itself, some people have gone too far. Pew noted that there were "numerous reports of behavior from non-residents that is disrespectful of neighbors and the surrounding area."
Pew added that the best way for well-wishers to support Nancy is to make a donation to World Vision. This is a charity that Nancy was fond of.
He concluded the statement by asking everyone to keep Nancy and her family in their thoughts. "I urge you to keep Nancy and her family in your thoughts and to respect their privacy. Our homes may be relatively far apart, but we, as neighbors, are closer than ever. I feel fortunate to be a part of this community."

The Search for Nancy Guthrie Has Reached 100 Days
The disappearance of Nancy Guthrie has gripped the nation, ever since she was first reported missing on January 31. But now, she's been missing for over 100 days. And people aren't much closer to finding out what happened to her.
Things were so sparse in the investigation that a prehistoric bone caused a ruckus when it was unearthed near her home. We reported on this when it happened earlier this month.
James Horton, a spokesperson for the Tucson Police Department, explained that the bone would be viewed in a "anthropological investigation", rather than anything that could help Nancy Guthrie be found.
We hope that Nancy Guthrie is found soon. This is a really sad case.
