Riley Green is following in the footsteps of other country music greats like Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton. Both were also coaches on the show.

The singing contest piqued viewers' interest and curiosity by posting an image on Instagram of a huge mustache on a chair on The Voice set. The caption was "Cue the boots, hats, and guesses below New Coach announcement INCOMING." There was also another image on Instagram of a chair from the show sitting in the woods with a duck flying overhead. (Green, an avid outdoorsman, is known as Duckman. The nickname is even on his guitar strap.)

Clarkson shared, "Riley Green! This is Kelly Clarkson, that is officially the last time we're going to use each other's full names ... but we have never officially met, so I'm super stoked to Coach alongside you. Welcome to The Voice! I was stoked when I heard you were going to be a Coach because I'm actually a super-fan of your music, you're so good. You probably know that because I've covered your songs."

Yet another video shows Green on the set, swiveling in his chair with his name on the back. Looks like he is settling in already and getting comfy!
