Music Star Responds To Being Attacked at McDonald’s: “Wouldn’t Happen at Wendy’s”

The music star was recently involved in a brawl at McDonald's with a "fan." And now, she's spoken out on social media about the incident.

As a musician, you're given a pretty unique set of challenges to navigate. Especially if you're in the public limelight. Fans can be pretty rowdy people. But one thing you'd never expect is being involved in a fight at McDonald's.

And, even less that the video goes viral online! Well, this is the predicament that music star Ice Spice is currently in, as reported by TMZ. A video showed her getting into an altercation with a fan.

The video shows a fan walking up to her whilst she's sitting in a booth. When she gestures for the fan to go away, a heated conversation starts before the fan starts to throw punches at her. But the "Big Guy" singer immediately returned the punches, with the fight spilling out onto the street.

That's not all—she even grabbed a phone from one of the people who was with the woman who hit her and allegedly smashed it on the floor.

The outlet managed to get in contact with the fan involved in the incident. According to her, Ice Spice was immediately hostile to her, even calling her some choice words. But Ice Spice's attorney thought differently. Bradford Cohen explained that "the unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD."

Ice Spice Responded to the Brawl Video on Social Media

But it looks like Ice Spice found the whole thing quite funny in the end. She took to X to quip on the incident.

What she responded was quite short and sweet: "This wouldn't happen at Wendy's." Fair enough, to be honest. Although I wouldn't doubt, with her fame, this sort of thing might happen anywhere!

People had mixed reactions on social media to the whole altercation. Some were supportive of her, with one commenter writing, "That wasn't right, charge her immediately!" and another writing, "Unfortunately when you're famous it happens anywhere [...] You definitely did your thing I would get security tho."

Others thought that she was in the wrong. One commenter said, "She's your fan, why can't you be calm with her? Not everything needs reaction." Another wrote, "Very dissatisfied with your response."

Well, whether Ice Spice was in the wrong or not, one thing remains true—I think we'll be seeing her at Wendy's soon!
