"I will be back," Levine said. "I'm having so much fun doing it. Since I came back a few seasons ago it's just been a blast and I'm super happy to keep it going as long as they'll have me."
Currently, Levine is the only confirmed coach for the next season of The Voice. His return will mark his 19th season on the show, having been part of the past two seasons following a one year hiatus for season 28.
"It was one of those moments where we started talking about it and it felt right... and it hadn't felt right until now," Levine told PEOPLE. "Doing it for so long, so consistently, for almost eight or nine years of my life, you can definitely start to get burnt. I did it for this really long period of time. So I started to feel like I was kind of getting away from things that matter to me the most, like making music and playing music."
Fans will undoubtedly welcome the news that Levine will remain with The Voice. After all, he's among the most popular coaches the show has ever had.
Alexia Jayy Became the Fourth Winner Under Adam Levine
Levine's return for season 30 will be a triumphant one. On April 14, Levine saw Alexia Jayy win The Battle of Champions to be crowned the winner of season 29. She is the fourth winner to have been coached by Levine.
"It's been a while... I almost forgot what it felt like to win 'The Voice.' This is a beautiful reminder, and what better person to win it with than Alexia," Levine told USA Today. "She's ridiculous, so insanely talented."
Now that Levine is sticking around for another season, a new batch of contestants will get to work with him. That will be a win for them. After all, there aren't many better coaches to learn from. Especially when it comes to experience, both as a musician and a coach on the show itself.
