A country star is asking for prayers as he prepares for surgery. Earlier this week, country singer Jay Allen revealed he was having surgery.

He was getting something fixed in his neck after suffering pain.
"Please pray for healing,"
he wrote on Facebook. "Today is hopefully the beginning of the end of my neck pain. I've been struggling with this for a few years due to traveling and touring, but we think we've finally found a solution. Also, very grateful for my fiancée who's helped me navigate the process."Allen shared a picture of himself from the hospital bed. Several fans sent well wishes.
One wrote, "I can relate!! Navigating through Trigeminal Neuralgia Nerve pain in the face for 2 1/2 years. And it takes that long to find someone who will help and understand what you're dealing with, then someone who just assumes and gives you a pill to cover it up."

Another wrote, "I don't know you but surely hope you get the neck fixed. The constant pain is just too much. If it is severe or just a constant pain. Sometimes I think the constant is worse. An annoyance that never goes away. Hope it works. And please do the assigned PT. It is the icing on the cake. It is the final fix. Good luck. And thanks to your partner for helping."
And another wrote, "Hey!!! So sorry for your pain...I to suffer so bad with a vertebrae on the back left of my neck...I have a major hard time turning my head to the left...plus trying to get comfortable at bed time is rough. May God heal your pain & suffering & your Doctor. Prayers!"
The country singer has had a rough couple of years. Allen's personal life spilled over into the headlines when split from country singer Kylie Morgan. Allen has since moved on and gotten engaged.
But that didn't stop things from being a media circus for a while. The two separated in in October 2024 with their divorce finalized last year. Here's hoping that Allen makes a full recovery and gets some rest.
