WWE Star Has Wardrobe Malfunction During Live Match

WWE NXT superstar, Jacy Jane, suffered a wardrobe malfunction during a recent championship match at a Premium Live Event

Saturday, April 4, was a tough day for WWE superstar Jacy Jane. She was competing at the NXT Stand & Deliver Premium Live Event, defending her NXT Women's Championship in a triple-threat match against Kendal Grey and Lola Vice.

Unfortunately, during the match, Jacy suffered a wardrobe malfunction. At one point in the match, Kendal had Jacy in an ankle lock, almost square in the middle of the ring. That's when the wardrobe issue occurred, leading WWE to black out their camera feed. Multiple videos of the incident (including the blacked-out screen)

were posted online.

The video feed returned and got cut multiple times within a 20-second timeframe, and each time it returned, it showed the action from a different angle. Unfortunately, it was clear to fans that Jacy's top was sliding down.

Jacy ultimately managed to fix the wardrobe issue when rolling into a pin on Kendal, allowing her to pull her top back up. Kendal gave Jacy the time she needed before kicking out, allowing the match to continue.

Unfortunately for Jacy, the night went from bad to worse. She ended up losing the triple-threat match and her title to Lola, and with that, her 137-day reign as the queen of NXT came to an abrupt end.

NXT Is the WWE's Developmental Brand

Some within the WWE won't admit it, but NXT is clearly the company's developmental brand. Led by WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, who oversees the brand's creative and books the matches, WWE gives match time to talent that could potentially make it onto the main roster.

In recent months, NXT has seen a flood of graduates head up to SmackDown and RAW. Oba Femi is on a rapid rise to superstardom. Trick Williams has earned a reputation as a maestro on the microphone and a potential pillar for the company in the years to come.

Lash Legend and Roxanne Perez have both moved up from NXT to bolster the women's division, while Sol Ruca is hot on their heels.

Jacy is likely in line for her own main roster spot in the near future, despite her recent wardrobe issue.

One thing is for certain, the WWE has created its own pipeline of talent, and with their current crop of stars all aging, it's about to pay huge dividends.
