The show Whose Line Is It Anyway? had lots of moments of improv and spontaneity across its many iterations. But one moment may have been too spontaneous for its own good.

You've never seen this one R-rated moment from the show. Comedian Greg Proops revealed one Whose Line Is It Anyway? cast member had a wardrobe malfunction mid-performance when his pants split.

"We were shooting in England in the '90s, and Tony Slattery, who was a very sexy member of the cast — he has since rolled off into the heavens, God rest his soul — Tony was doing a bit, and his trousers split open on his suit and Tony was rolling commando," Proops told PEOPLE.

The moment left little to the imagination for both the comedians and the audience. He explained, "We could see New Year's and Christmas and all of the holidays, right then and there. They rushed him off the set and they sewed up his trousers and they brought him back on again."

The live studio audience wouldn't calm down after the incident happened and continued to laugh even after Slattery returned to the stage. "You're never going to see that because they don't even put it on the blooper reel because I think it was a little too much of an adult dose for everyone," Proops said.

While we didn't get to see that instance of insanity, there's still plenty of laughs that we did get to enjoy across Whose Line is It Anyway? from 1998 to 2007 and from 2014 to 2024. There's both the British and American versions as well.

Additionally, Proops will frequently travel with Ryan Stiles, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray for a live rendition of the show as well.

"We don't really have to chat about it a lot. We're like the Harlem Globetrotters. We can close our eyes and pass backwards to each other. It's not that I know what he's gonna do, but I have a pretty good idea," he shares. "The good part is we laugh at each other still. We think we find each other humorous, which I think is extraordinary at this late date."
