One of your worst fears as a parent is your child going and doing something stupid. Just imagine the embarrassment. But, most of all, you'd want to help sort things out if something happened, right?
Well, as reported by the New York Post, one Baltimore, Maryland mom helped make things right for the actions of her son. Muhsin Sarac is a food truck vendor in Baltimore who livestreams his daily business. That can have its benefits, as he managed to catch one sneaky thief on camera.
At around 9pm on March 27, someone came up to the food truck and asked for a cheesesteak. Even as Sarac warned the customer that he was livestreaming on social media, he put his hand into the tip jar when he thought Sarac wasn't looking.
When Sarac turned around, the man had already made off with the money. It turns out that he had taken $30 from the tip jar. "Did he steal, or not? I couldn't see... I think he stole the money. Are you f***ing serious?" Sarac shook his head at the audacity, but he never could've guessed what happened next.

The Robber's Mother Came to the Truck a Few Days Later
Although Sarac did call the police, and officers arrived, not much action was taken. The officers did say they knew the man, which surprised Sarac. He even mused, "He seemed nice—why is he doing this?"
But then, after four days, a mysterious woman walked up to the food truck to talk to him. "A little while ago, a young man came to your stand and took money out of your tip jar. I'm his mother," she explained. She then proceeded to ask Sarac how much money he took.
And when he said that around $30 had gone missing, she put her hands in her pockets to give him the money. "No, I want to pay, because my son wasn't raised like that. My son drinks, and when he drinks, he does stupid stuff... He took it from your tip jar, $30 goes back to your tip jar."
What a heartwarming interaction! Good on his mom for doing the right thing!
