Shocking Moment Teen Smashes Through Car Window to Save Woman Having a Seizure

Ring footage showed the teen clambering onto the bed of the pickup truck, before smashing the window and getting inside to help the woman.

What would you do to help someone in danger? Break a law, put yourself in harm's way? Some are more willing to do these things than others. And one Philadelphia teen did something drastic to help a woman having a seizure.

As reported by People, 17-year-old Jaheim Warner heroically smashed clean through a car window to save a woman trapped inside. She was having a seizure whilst locked inside her vehicle.

The teen had just finished up playing a baseball game at Tacony Academy Charter High School on March 26. He was still in his uniform, walking home, when he saw a ruckus.

A white pickup truck was slowly drifting down the road in neutral. People were surrounding the car, trying their best to signal the woman. Warner recalled, "There were people around it, like, trying to bang on the window saying, 'Wake up, wake up!'. He recalled that "the lady was like, seizing... Her arms were tight and her head was back."

Then, the teen decided that action needed to be taken. He smashed the back window, climbed into the car, and unlocked the doors. He then proceeded to stay with the woman until an ambulance arrived.

Ring Doorbell Footage Captured the Teen Helping

In a crazy turn of event, people's Ring doorbell footage showed the whole thing going down. The footage shows Warner in his baseball uniform clambering onto the bed of the pickup truck.

The teen explained, "I just felt like I had to stay with her, like, to make sure she wasn't alone through that rough time and to make sure somebody can sit there and comfort her in the way that, that I could."

He further added what he said to the woman. "So I sat there, I hold her hand. I said, 'It's going to be okay. I'm not going to leave you.' And I never did." How kind is that!

The teen has been praised on Facebook, when the neighbour shared the Ring footage in a group called "Philaqueens". Cheatley explained that "In the moment, I was just so shocked... the person who, you know... rose to the occasion was this little boy."

What a brave guy!
