If you've ever watched professional wrestling, you'll be familiar with the warning of "don't try this at home." However, Fox Nation host Abby Hornacek decided to ignore that warning during a recent assignment.

Abby, the daughter of former New York Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek, joined Fox & Friends to promote Real American Freestyle Wrestling. Part of her segment involved her getting suplexed live on television.
The start of the segment saw Abby interviewing RAF Middleweight champ Kennedy Blades. The discussion progressed to Kennedy showcasing her signature move, which, of course, was the suplex.
"I'm so nervous," Abby said before having her back taken and being sent flying.
Fortunately, Abby wasn't hurt by the move, and quickly got back to her feet, with a big grin across her face. "Ohhh! Amazing," she said. "I don't think I can be a wrestler."
While Abby may have survived her trip to Suplex City, some of her equipment wasn't so lucky. Her mic pack took the brunt of the impact and was no longer usable.
"Alright, the mic pack did not survive, but I did, luckily," she said while showing off the broken piece of equipment. "I know that looked worse than it was, but it was a lot of fun. I think I'm going to stay off the mat from now on...But Kennedy here, I gotta say — that felt like being thrown off a skyscraper."
Viewers Were Quick To Point Out the Risk Abby Hornacek Took
The safest way to land a suplex is across the top of your shoulders. Avoiding landing on the neck is paramount, as that can lead to serious medical issues almost instantly. Some viewers who watched Abby get suplexed were quick to share their concern on social media, as the reply looked like she was just inches from a seriously dangerous landing.
"I'm not a wrestler, but this just seems too risky for me. Lol I mean look at dude in the back how he reacts," one user wrote on X.
Another user shared their uncertainty regarding the preparation Abby had been given before eating the suplex.
"I did not like the way Abby's head and neck looked. Wondering if she was prepped correctly. Happy she popped right back up," they wrote.
However, some viewers were quick to praise Kennedy for her form and control throughout the demonstration, noting that she was protecting Abby all the way through the move.
"Looking at it from this POV Kennedy had perfect form and protected Abby from any harm," the user explained.
Whatever your feelings are, you have to tip your hat to Abby. She was a good sport about the whole situation and seemed to have fun in the moment. Sometimes, Journalism can shed light on the fun things happening, both locally and globally. And in those moments, it's often worthwhile to have a new experience, as long as a professional is there to help, of course.
