Vince Gill wants Taylor Swift to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Gill was previously the second youngest inductee, being 50 years old at the time.

During a recent episode of "Nashville Now," Gill admitted that he was nervous when his own induction came. He was concerned that he was being honored too soon.
"I was grateful. There was a part of me that kind of thought, 'A little early,' honestly," Gill said. "What I wanted to do after the fact was earn it."
Now Gill wants Taylor to break his record and become the youngest-ever inductee to the Country Music Hall of Fame. He shared his reasons why during the same podcast episode.
"I think they'll put her in there. Why wouldn't you?" he said. "I'm crazy about her. I fully support that."
Taylor, 36, is a global superstar. She's earned every bit of recognition she's received. However, if she were to be inducted in the next few years, she would be lowering the record by 10 or more years. There's no guarantee the Hall of Fame goes for that idea.
Johnny Cash and Eddy Arnold currently hold the record for the youngest inductee of all time, with both of them tied at 48 years old.
Talking of Records, Ella Langley Recently Beat One of Taylor Swift's
While we're on the topic of record-setting achievements, Ella Langley recently overtook Taylor Swift for one obscure record.
According to Billboard, Langley has become the first female musician to hold the top two positions on the Hot Country Songs ranking for multiple weeks. Her songs "Choosin' Texas" and "Be Her" hold the first and second positions, respectively.
"Swift became the first woman to accomplish the feat more than a decade ago, when she was beginning her shift from country to pop," Forbes reported. "At one point, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" led the charge, while "Red," the title track from her album of the same name, sat at No. 2."
The world is lucky enough to have multiple world-class female performers. Swift and Langley will both have their names inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame at some point in time. Whether either of them will set the record for youngest inductee is something we'll have to wait to find out.
