4 Pennsylvania high school students have died after a single-vehicle car crash. As reported by People, the crash occurred on Saturday, March 21 at around 3:20am local time.

A report released by the Westmoreland County Coroner's Office

on Facebook detailed the tragic incident. It revealed that "a passing motorist reported to 911 a single motor vehicle collision with intense fire" in Sewickley Township. After "firefighters extinguished the fire", they analysed the DNA of the bodies found in the car.

The cause and manner of death are not currently known, but will be found out through an autopsy. Toxicology tests will also be carried out. As well as the Westmoreland County Coroner's Office, Pennsylvania State Police have also been notified and will be investigating the incident.

The four victims have been identified as Brady Hunker, 15; Rocco Zugai, 18; Felicity Martini, 15; and Kylee Korber, 16. They were all students of Yough Senior High School in Westmoreland County.

The Yough School District released a statement on their website sending their condolences. Superintendent Anthony R. DeMaro wrote about the situation.

"We take a moment to remember the lives of Brady, Felicity, Kylee and Rocco," the statement began. "Our hearts are with their families, friends, classmates and all who are grieving this unimaginable loss."

The School District Were Grateful For the Outpouring of Support After the Crash

The statement continued by thanking the local community for their "kindness, love and support" after the tragic crash.

"There have been countless individuals, school districts, organizations, places of worship, and agencies in our county and throughout the region who have reached out and lifted our community up in so many ways - far too many to name. Your compassion and generosity have meant more than words can express during this difficult time."

And the statement finished with a wish for prayers. "Please continue to keep all those impacted in your thoughts and prayers," the superintendent finished.

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman also commented on the tragedy in a post on social media. "As parents, Gisele and I deeply grieve for and with the families and the entire Yough School District community".

This is an absolutely tragic incident, especially as the victims were all so young. May they rest in peace.
