The always-outspoken host of the Dumb Blonde podcast and wife of Jelly Roll recently underwent a facelift. After the procedure earlier this month, she joked in a post that her it left her looking like comedian Bert Kreischer. This week, the 46-year-old continues her candid updates, explaining she feels like she's being "choked from ear to ear."
Bunnie Xo Shares More of the Side Effects of Surgery
In an Instagram reel captioned "I kno, I did this to myself but damn," Bunnie Xo shares that she can't walk "without being winded." She continues to spend recovery time living "in a recliner." Despite these setbacks, she remains optimistic and believes she's about to turn a corner.
"Everyone keeps telling you day 7 is the best day but that's tomorrow and you have lost all faith in humanity," she wrote.
The previous day, in a less dramatic post, the author of Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic shared a photo of her bruised face without stitches.
"Baby you are healing like a salt water croc — holy f*** you look good," Jelly Roll wrote in the comments.
Why Did Bunnie Xo Get a Facelift?
Bunnie Xo has been saying for a while that she was going to get a facelift when she turned 46. While previously critical of plastic surgery, she defended her recent decision to proceed with the facelift.
"Yes, I love natural bodies," she said in an episode of Dumb Blonde earlier this year. "I preach against, you know, plastic surgery that I've had that I wish I hadn't gotten. A facelift is not one of them."
Bunnie Xo went into more detail in the comment section of a recent Instagram post.
"For everyone asking why I decided to do a facelift, old filler was one of the main reasons," she explained. "I had stopped getting filler over 3 years ago in my face (I did have some in my lips tho), had it dissolved multiple times in my cheeks & it still was in my face."
PEOPLE reports that Bunnie Xo has had breast implants removed, a rhinoplasty, and a gluteal fat grafting procedure to move fat from her lower back and stomach to her buttocks. She has called it the "worst thing" she has ever done.
