In a tragic turn of events, country singer Bryan Martin has cancelled his show and asked for prayers due to an emergency.
In a notes app screenshot posted on his Instagram, the country singer revealed that there was a family emergency that caused the last minute cancellation. His show was due to take place last week at the Grizzly Rose in Denver, Colorado.
"An unexpected emergency is happening with my family and I need to be there right now," he wrote. Some moments in life come without warning and remind you what really matters".
He then explained that he didn't want to explain the reasons, saying that "some things are sacred to me and my family to keep our personal life out of that light". A fair request, to be honest.
The country singer continued that "Right now, my place isn't on a stage... it's beside the people I love most... it's a blessing and God has been good to us...I hope yall understand." He then wrote that he will "fill you all in" when he can. He further apologised for the fans that traveled from far away and spent a lot of money to get there.
But, it's not all bad news. He said that the show's being rescheduled for May 1st, and the tickets will remain valid.
And he ended the post with a heartfelt thank you - "Thank you for always riding with me. -Bryan"
