Teyana Taylor reportedly had an altercation with a security guard backstage at the 2026 Oscars. The One Battle After Another star has alleged that she was shoved during the incident.

During the video, Teyana appears to have been asked why she's so upset.
"Because he's putting his hands on the female," she continued. "He literally shoved me. He was d--n near shoving her."
The other woman Teyana was referencing as being shoved during the video, has not been identified.
Despite the ordeal, Teyana had a night to remember as One Battle After Another won the best picture award.
According to Page Six, the issue occurred after the award show, when Teyana was attempting to get on stage with her co-stars.
"Taylor was attempting to get back on stage at the Dolby Theater to snap a few photos with her co-stars after winning the best picture category. However, a security guard stopped her — and Pam Abdi, co-head of Warner Bros. — by using his body to block them. He even allegedly put his hands on Taylor to hold her back."
One Battle After Another was the major winner at the 2026 Oscars. The movie and those associated with it won multiple awards.
Along with 'best picture," the movie saw Sean Penn win 'best supporting actor.' Furthermore, Paul Thomas Anderson scooped the award for 'Best Director.'
The movie was also voted as the 'best adapted screenplay,' while also scooring 'best film editing' and 'best casting.'
So, while Teyana Taylor didn't receive an individual award for her role in the movie, she can certainly take pride in being involved in such a critically acclaimed production. One Battle After Another was clearly well received, both by the general public and those within the industry.
Hopefully, Teyana doesn't let the incident with the security guard ruin her memory of the night. Because it was, after all, a highly successful one for all involved with the hit film.
