Six months after Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman announced their separation, the actress has finally broken her silence.

Kidman filed for divorce in September after 19 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. It became official in January.
As Kidman's new television series, Scarpetta, debuts today on Prime Video, she spoke with Variety about the show and, inevitably, her personal life.
Nicole Kidman Says She Is "Grateful"
The 58-year-old Kidman was asked if she was "doing all right" since the announcement of her and Urban's separation in September.
"I am, because I'm always going to be moving toward what's good," she replied.
"What I'm grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That's that," Kidman added. "Everything else I don't discuss out of respect. I'm staying in a place of, 'We are a family,' and that's what we'll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women."
As we reported in January, the couple had apparently worked out all the details of their split before filing for divorce.
Kidman and Urban have waived any spousal and child support. They will also keep their own assets, suggesting the couple had a prenuptial agreement.
Kidman shares two children with her former husband, actor Tom Cruise. She and Urban also share two daughters: Sydney Rose and Faith Margaret.
The couple also agreed to a parenting plan and co-parenting classes. Their children will spend 59 days a year with Urban. The rest of the year will be spent with the Babygirl actress. Both parents will jointly make all major parenting decisions, including those about education and health care.
This Is a Big Year for Kidman
In her interview, Kidman reflected on how she spent 2025 in her "shell," and shared that she is now eager to break out of it.
"Now I'm in a place of saying, '2026. Here we go.' I have Practical Magic with [Sandra Bullock]," she added. "I'll be in full witch mode."
She also expressed her desire to spend more time with her daughters and possibly returning to the stage.
"I've done Broadway and the West End a couple of times. But I'm interested in off-Broadway and even some regional theater at some point, like in Chicago. Those things are different and exciting," she said.
"You just need to get your children to a certain age to be able to do it," she added. "Right now is not the time for me to do that; I've got to take care of these kids. That's sort of in my 'Future' folder. I've got to fill this summer with kid stuff."
