For a lot of people, being a celebrity is a life-long dream. The red carpet, the fame, the adoring fans. But, it's also a pretty big double-edged sword, something that Luke Combs is deeply aware of.
Everyone knows the North Carolina-born country star for his heartfelt, catchy songs. Luke Combs burst onto the country music scene in 2014, gaining the number one spot on country radio airplay chart in 2017 with his hit "Hurricane". But, he has said that all this attention has its drawbacks.
As reported by Whiskey Riff, in an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, he said, "I really do try to stay grounded in family and friends. I do not let the level of success be my identity and how I view myself as a person,"
"I'm a person that's trying to do the best I can as a dad, as a boss, as an artist, as a singer, as a performer. I try to be the best version of myself... I try to give as much as myself as I can to everyone else, and not think of myself as better as everyone else or different than anyone else." Wise words!
He also said that he tries to be humble, trying to keep things normal for him and his kids. "When I'm home, let's just go to the grocery store with my kids and just get groceries... I try to just not operate in the vacuum of celebrity", he said.

Luke Combs' Upcoming Tour Is Set To Be a Big One
Luke Combs is currently touring for his upcoming album, "The Way I Am". As seen on his website, he has another tour planned, beginning March 20. And this one's looking like a doozy.
As reported by Mix Online, the first stop of his My Kind Of Saturday tour will be at the Allegiant Stadium outside of Vegas. And, apparently, the sound engineers aren't taking any chances. They are deploying the largest Outline system ever for the show. It will feature 360 degree coverage of his catchy songs.
Good luck to Luke Combs on the end of his tour (and the new one he's kicking off)!
