According to PEOPLE, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback and his fiancée have officially broken up. This announcement arrives just weeks before the former couple was supposed to be married in Lake Como, Italy, on April 10.
As details about the split emerged, the way the 250 invitees to the destination wedding were informed also drew attention. We have the details below.

TMZ shared an email one guest received about the wedding. Signed by the couple, it read as follows:
"It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers."
PEOPLE reported that a representative for Ramos said that she and Prescott are "both heartbroken that they're not getting married."
Why Are Prescott and Ramos Breaking Up?
The answer to why Prescott and Ramos are calling it quits after being engaged since 2024 is a complicated one.
TMZ reports that Ramos called off the wedding after an argument during their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Bahamas. She deleted the pictures from her party she shared earlier this week.
"I truly believe you can get through anything in life as long as you have really great friends," she had wrote in the caption. "I love these girls so much."
Other rumors reported by TMZ suggest that Ramos did not want to sign the prenuptial agreement.
However, a representative for Ramos provided PEOPLE with a much different account.
"There wasn't any rockiness in the lead up, and there was no big argument or blow up," the rep said. "It was a mutual decision."
They added that Ramos and Prescott are now focused on raising their children together in "the most loving and positive way."
"It's still shocking for them since this happened so recently, and they ask for privacy while they sort everything out," they said.
Ramos, a wine specialist, and Prescott first began dating in 2023. Prescott proposed to her in October 2024.
