When heading to a Treaty Oak Revival concert, you might want to wear a helmet.

The "Bad State of Mind" band has been trying to clampdown the beer can tosses that has been known to happen at its shows when they perform "Boomtown." Guitarist Lance Vanley talked about it last year.
"We don't encourage it," he said. "The whole thing, where it just turned into throwing full cans, cups, and stuff, became more dangerous."
Treaty Oak Revival has said in the past that the beer showers are reserved for "Boomtown." But that didn't stop an audience in Evansville, Indiana, on Feb. 20 from breaking the rule. We have the details below.
The Frontman of Treaty Oak Revival Left the Stage
Long after the band played "Boomtown," frontman Sam Canty had to dodge a few cans and cups being hurled at him during the last verse of "Leaving Hell." He then tossed his guitar pick into the crowd and left the stage.
Canty hasn't commented on the incident. But that didn't stop his wife, Kelsi, from giving an NSFW demonstration on how to properly do a beer shower with a bottle of water.
"You're supposed to throw it over your f****** head and drop it on the ground," she said. "Is that hard? I'm sorry, is it hard?"
Then Kelsi unleashed a tirade. "This is why there's plastic cups now instead of bottles, because of you guys," she added. "They are literally giving it their all performing for you guys, giving you the best concert that you can [get], and y'all are ruining it for them by throwing stuff at them. It's just not cool, and it's not nice. Do you want me to throw something at you? 'Cause I f****** will."
She Then Said the Band Has Never Encouraged Beer Throwing
As we shared above, Treaty Oak Revival says it isn't supporting the beer can throwing. Kelsi made sure that was clear in her clip.
"Also, for the comments on that video saying that they've encouraged it [and] they've done this to themselves, shut the f*** up," she said. "They never once have encouraged you guys throwing sh*t at them on stage. Never once. They have encouraged you guys to throw beer over your head [and] drop your sh*t on the ground or a trash can."
She concluded by adding, "For the lesson of the day: throw your beer, drop it on the ground, quit throwing shit at them on stage."
Thanks for the tutorial, Kelsi!
