Riley Green Shared a New Song, and Fans Have a Theory on Who It’s About

Riley Green shared a song with fans on Instagram over the weekend. Titled "POS Like Me," the NSFW track is about someone who can only be described as the worst romantic partner in the history of ... ever.

Drink a little cold beer

Every hunting season, I disappear

You hated my dogs

You hated my songs

Yeah, you hated it way out here

One day you're gonna try

You ain't ever gonna find

Another lowdown, no good, rusted truck-driving, waffle house-eating, overall-wearing piece of s*** like me

Fans can't help but notice the timing of the song. Green posted his performance a day after Megan Moroney released her latest album, Cloud 9. Fans linked the singers together last year.

Wait... Riley Green and Megan Moroney Dated?

Neither Green nor Moroney has confirmed they have ever dated. For the past year, fans have posted "proof" that the two were together on vacation last May. Considering that the two were touring at the same time, it doesn't seem likely.

There was even the rumor that "Choosin' Texas" is about a love triangle between Green, Moroney, and Ella Langley. Why? The single's artwork supposedly depicts Green and Moroney driving together in a convertible.

Langley has since revealed that the track was inspired by a story Miranda Lambert told about getting pulled over with a kangaroo in her passenger seat. Honest.

So Which Megan Moroney Song Is About Green?

Fans believe that the breakup anthem "Who Hurt You?" could be about Green. Its lyrics reference his home state of Alabama and speculate that he has had work done on his teeth.

I was blinded by the lies

And the manufactured smile

The devil went down to Georgia

Then he crossed the 'Bama line.

In an interview with Elaina Smith, Moroney talked about what the song is about.

"Bar for bar, didn't lie, said everything so that I don't have to answer interview questions about the situation," Moroney said. "Yeah, and here's my piece, and there's no reason to ask me any questions about it because I told you what I needed to say.

"I'm trying to just be efficient here... I'm like, have you heard the song? Like, there should be no further questions."
