Trump Shares AI Video of Himself Punching Canadian Hockey Player And Winning Olympic Gold

An AI-generated video showed President Donald Trump body-checking Canadian players and scoring the game-winning goal.

After the U.S. hockey team's gold medal victory over Canada at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, everyone praised the performance of goalie Connor Hellebuyck.

"He was our best player tonight by a mile, unbelievable game, unreal game by our team," said his teammate Jack Hughes. "Just a ballsy, gutsy win. That's American hockey right there. That's a great Canadian team, but we're USA, we're so proud to be Americans. This night was all for our country."

President Donald Trump called the team to congratulate them on bringing home gold.

"So he just spoke to the group, expressing how proud he was of the group and congratulating everybody on the win," said Head Coach Mike Sullivan. "Obviously, this game, in a lot of ways, was an inspiration to our country."

President Trump continued to celebrate the victory on social media. On his Truth Social account, he posted an AI-generated clip that put him right into the action. We have the details below.

President Donald Trump Has the "Eye of the Tiger"

In the minute-long clip generated by Grok, the AI assistant created by Elon Musk, President Trump wins a faceoff wearing his signature blue suit and red tie.

The video is set to the song "Eye of the Tiger," the classic anthem by the rock group Survivor. President Trump is a player like no other. No pads, helmets, or assists for him. He handles the puck across the ice and around a seemingly endless number of Canadian players.

But the leader of the free world isn't afraid to take off his gloves and beat down some Canadians when they get in his way. Sure, it gives him some time in the penalty box, but the man keeps smiling.

As time starts to run out, it is President Trump who scores the winning goal. The rest of Team USA gathers around him to celebrate the victory. Truly a gold medal-worthy performance.

Is the Video of President Trump on the U.S. Hockey Team Metaphorical?

When President Trump took office last year, he said on multiple occasions that he wanted to make Canada the "51st state." The reason? To have access to the country's considerable amount of natural resources.

While some believe the video is good-natured trolling, others have observed that the clip the president posted of his takedown of the Canadian hockey team might be a metaphor for his plan to annex Canada.
