Rondale Moore has died at the age of 25. The former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver's cause of death is reportedly due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound, per TMZ Sports.

According to Todd Bailey, the chief of the New Albany, Indiana Police Department, who spoke with TMZ Sports, Moore was "found deceased in the garage of the property of a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound."
Bailey has noted that the investigation into Moore's death is still ongoing. As such, no further information on the incident can be provided.
Moore, who was originally drafted by the Cardinals, spent three seasons in Arizona before being traded to the Atlanta Falcons but didn't make an appearance. He joined the Minnesota Vikings ahead of the 2025 season but an injury kept him sidelined.
Upon learning of Moore's death, the Vikings issued a statement on social media.
"We are deeply saddened by the passing of Rondale Moore," the statement reads. "While we are working to understand the facts, we have spoken with Rondale's family to offer our condolences and the full support of the Minnesota Vikings. We have also been in communication with our players, coaches, and staff, and will make counseling and emotional support resources available to anyone in need. Our thoughts are with Rondale's family and friends during this devastating time."
Vikings Head Coach Issues Statement on Rondale Moore's Death
Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell has also issued a statement following the 25-year-old's tragic death.
"While Rondale had been a member of the Vikings for a short time, he was someone we came to know well and care about deeply," O'Connell said, per the BBC. "He was a humble, soft-spoken and respectful young man who was proud of his Indiana roots. We are all heartbroken by the fact he won't continue to live out his NFL dream and we won't all have a chance to watch him flourish."
Moore's passing will undoubtedly come as a shock to the entire NFL. Statements continued to pour in. There are no details regarding his impending funeral. That information will likely remain private for family and close friends.
