For centuries, man has looked up to the heavens and wondered if he is alone in the universe.

Well, it sounds like we won't have to contemplate much longer. President Donald Trump has announced that he is ordering officials to identify and release government files about unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and alien life forms.
There Is "Tremendous Interest" in UFOs
President Trump made his announcement in a post on Truth Social yesterday, Feb. 19.
"Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters," he wrote.
The chairwoman of the House Oversight Committee, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), responded by stating on X that it "looks like we are about to have a ton of hearings on this!"
President Obama Supposedly Confirmed the Existence of Aliens Earlier This Week
We reported last week that former President Barack Obama said in an interview that aliens are "real."
"But I haven't seen them," he added. "They're not being kept at Area 51. There's no underground facility, unless there's this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States."
As reported by the New York Post yesterday, President Trump scolded Obama for revealing "classified information" during a chat with reporters on Air Force One.
"I don't know if they're real or not, but I can tell you he gave classified information. He made a big mistake," said Trump. "He took it out of classified information. No, I don't have an opinion on it. I never talk about it. A lot of people do. A lot of people believe it."
Obama has since walked back his comments, saying they were in "the spirit of the speed round" of questions. He said he was suggesting it was statistically probable that there is life beyond Earth.
However, it is nice that the two former Presidents kind of agree on something.
