Caleb Flynn has been arrested for the alleged murder of his wife. Flynn, a former contestant on the 2013 series of American Idol, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 19. He was booked into the county jail for murder, felonious assault and tampering with evidence, per TMZ.

According to the police, they found his wife's, Ashley's, body inside their marital home in Tipp City. There has been a report of a burglary at the house.
"Authorities say Caleb shot 37-year-old Ashley using a 9mm semiautomatic handgun and then staged the crime scene, leading officers astray," TMZ reported.
WHIOTV has released some of the dispatch logs of the inital police report regarding the burglary. The term "RP" stands for reporting party.
"Someone broke into the RP's house, unknown if they are still there. Garage door is open," the dispatcher said before noting that someone had been fatally shot.
There is no further information regarding the police call, what the officers found at the scene, or what led to Flynn's arrest.
Tipp City Police Chief Issues Statement Surrounding the Investigation
Greg Adkins, the Tipp City Police Cheif has issued a statement regarding Ashley's untimely death.
"The Tipp City Police Department appreciates the community's patience and support while this collaborative investigative team worked diligently on this complex case," he said. "We also extend our sincere appreciation to the many agencies that have assisted—and continue to assist—in this investigation involving a tragic loss of life."
According to WHIOTV, the police found "probable cause to charge Caleb with murder."

Flynn was unsuccessful in his attempt to make it beyond the audition stage of American Idol in 2013. The video of his audition is still live on YouTube, including his pre-audition interview.
"My name is Caleb Flynn. I'm from Tip City, Ohio. I auditioned because, I'm sure everybody says it, but music is all I know. It's what I live to do, and I love to sing, so that's why I auditioned. Maybe my wife kind of nudged me a little bit, too," his interview began. "...I love my wife more than anything. She is very, very pretty. I love her."
More information will likely be released as the investigation continues.
