For weeks, we've been wondering whether that mustache we saw in the latest Marshals trailer belonged to Riley Green.

We have previously reported that fans believe the "Change My Mind" singer is in a clip of the Yellowstone spinoff.

Green hasn't exactly been forthcoming about his potential debut either. At a press conference for his #1 party in Nashville, Green was asked about the speculation regarding any upcoming acting roles.

"I don't know how much I'm supposed to say about it, so I'll just leave it [at this]," he said. "It's been something that I've been interested in for a while, and obviously been talked about for a little bit. I've had some opportunities last year to kind of go down that road."

We can now confirm that Green does have a role in the action drama. We have the details below.

Yes, Riley Green and Luke Grimes Are Teaming Up

Green's involvement with Marshals was announced on the show's social media yesterday. Variety reports the singer will play Garrett, a former Navy SEAL.

It looks like this isn't so much a recurring role as it is a guest appearance. His character has called upon friends Kayce Dutton (Grimes) and Cal, played by Logan Marshall-Green, to help him "put the demons of his past to rest."

While this seems like this role could be a departure for Green, it seems like it's straight in his wheelhouse. As evidenced by the trailer, the singer does play some guitar.

"I'm so excited to be joining the cast of Marshals. Being on set with my buddy Luke Grimes made the experience even more memorable," Green says in a statement. "This is my first go around in the acting space, and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to this world."

What Is "Marshals" About?

The latest series set in the Yellowstone universe follows Kayce after the events of the original series.

Says the show's logline, "With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Kayce Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana, where he and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region's war on violence."

You won't need a streaming subscription to watch Taylor Sheridan's newest drama. Marshals begins Sunday, March 1, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
