Surrounded by frenzied fans, the subject of endless stories in the media, always being photographed and pursued - not an uncomplicated life for him and Priscilla. But she recently revealed a charming ritual that they enjoyed together that brought them closer. For a little while, it kept the world at bay.

They Loved Watching Movies Together at Graceland
Presley spoke "[a]t the Center for Family Services PBC 27th Annual Old Bags Luncheon at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla. on Wednesday, Feb. 18," per People. "We saw a lot of movies," she shared. "We would have dinner about 10 p.m. every night, and sometimes we'd see one, two, three, four movies all night."
It wasn't easy getting up early the next day, she added. "I was always late for school, I'm sure."
Being Elvis's Girlfriend Was a Lonely Challenge in Some Ways
Priscilla Presley, now 80, was very young and unworldly back then. Handling the challenge of being the love interest of the King of Rock and Roll probably felt somewhat overwhelming. Did she vent to anyone? She said, "I dealt with it. You know, I had to. I was struggling, to be honest"
But there was one person she found comfort in - Elvis's grandmother. Per the outlet, "I would be with grandma and we would talk and laugh, and she would tell me all her stories about when she was growing up, what she did and how she was very close with Elvis' mother."
She Speaks Very Fondly of Elvis to This Day
Elvis and Priscilla Presley were married for only six years, from 1967 to 1973. He died in 1977, nearly half a century ago. Yet she still speaks of him with great affection. In an interview with Hello! Magazine, Presley reflected warmly about the star who was her beloved husband.
"He had the best laugh. He just had a great sense of humour and [was] fun to be with."
What does she imagine Elvis would be doing now of he were still alive and in his nineties? Presley replied, "I think he'd be doing the same thing in life - singing and touring. He loved it."
