Bunnie Xo, popular Dumb Blonde podcaster and wife of country singer Jelly Roll, is extremely honest about herself. She has been very upfront about the struggles she has endured in her life. In her new highly candid book, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, Bunnie Xo presents some raw revelations about her relationship with her husband.

They have definitely hit some very rough patches, especially when he allegedly cheated on her with someone else. Bunnie Xo writes that she despaired to the point of contemplating suicide when Jelly Roll's infidelity took place years ago.
Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll Previously Had an Open Relationship
The pair, who tied the knot in 2016, had previously had an open relationship, Bunnie Xo writes. They would welcome "other women into our bed" and she says that Jelly Roll was okay with her being intimate with other men.
But in 2018, during a period when the couple was not getting along, Jelly Roll was evidently communicating with a former flame. That got Bunnie Xo's dander up. She figured something might be going on between them.
The Couple's Rupture Came to a Head
When couples therapy did not work, Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll decided to spend some time apart. She unexpectedly attended one of his shows to talk with him. As she described it in her book, "He didn't want me there and was mad I would think it was okay to show up unannounced. I found out later that it was because he had his ex-fling waiting for him in a hotel room down the street."
Bunnie Xo found out for sure that he was involved with somebody else. So she pulled up stakes and moved from Music City to Las Vegas. Crushed by her spouse's unfaithfulness, she writes that she hit absolute bottom.
"That night I contemplated taking my life. The pain was so intense that I genuinely just wanted to end it all. I went into my bathroom and grabbed a bottle of pills I had stashed in case of an emergency and held them in my hand. I stared at the bottle, wondering what it would feel like to die from an overdose." Bunnie Xo came back from the brink, fortunately, and she and Jelly Roll separated for a few months.
Jelly Roll Later Expressed Remorse
When he was on the Human School Podcast in 2025, the "Need a Favor" singer said how regretful he was about straying from his marital vows. "One of the worst moments of my adulthood was when I had an affair on my wife. Because it was the first time that I was like, 'I really can't get this right at all. I know I'm in love with this woman.' It just really, really, really blew me back."
He added, "I wish our story would've went in the way that it never had an affair, and I'm in way glad it happened, but man, I'm proud of who we are today. I truly am."
As for Bunnie Xo, she believes "everyone deserves a second chance."
